I bought this book as something of a joke for a friend - nicknamed "The Ninja" for his ability to get things done on his own. My expectation was that the tone of the book would be like the old Hong Kong Kung Fu movies - sensational and filled with helpful suggestions like, "in order to walk up the side of a wall, you must first master the art of becoming weightless. Now, are you weightless? Good. Place your right foot on the wall and lean into the wall...then, move your left foot from the ground and place above your right foot. Run to the top of the wall. Isn't it greate to be able to walk up walls now?!
In looking it over prior to giving it to him, I was impressed with the author's sincerity and focus on the spiritual aspect of this discipline. I find myself looking for another copy for myself...
