Wonderful book
I read this book years ago and keep buying more as gifts for friends. It totally changed my relationship with animals. I had for years been having a debate with my minister at church about whether animals have souls. After reading this book I am convinced that they do. I do not see them as lesser beings but as souls that inhabit our same space but with different backgrounds different experiences. Animals have senses we have never developed and have given up ones no longer necessary that we perhaps think are important. They are not lesser beings. I thought the book was incredible and explaining that.
