She brings together the three women, now leading normal lives, to help her find out where Pell is and what he's up to. Pell, for his part, and a young woman he has manipulated to help him, tries to outguess the police and fulfill his mission, as he learns that Kathryn Dance is perhaps his most dangerous opponent. Very fast-paced, twists and turns all through it and a surprise in the end, but I'm not telling you what. Great characters, very believable. I had never read anything by Jeffery Deaver before, but I was intrigued by some reviews I had read. Now I will read him again.

This is an absolutely terrific book. It's not only a mystery, but also the story of a family and how the simplist action, or inaction, can change lives forever.
It's fast paced and will keep you guessing until the very end. Characters are extremely well-developed and believable.
Jeffery Deaver proves once again why he is a best-selling author.
