This film for me is rated amongst the best I have seen. I have watched it several times and each time it brings tears to my eyes. Sidney Poitier at his best again and all supporting actors to be applauded. Great film with a great story which must inspire us to fight against the big guns that tend to rule us without thought for any person.

What a lovely story. It was a backdrop for everything I believe most of our souls long for - a validation of simplicity, realism and honesty in life.

Why we have lost the ability to make movies like this is beyond me. The story feeds the soul and moves the emotions in a wonderful and healthy way.

Good family movie
Super movie about the fast paced "city slickers" and the slower paced "country folks"..The movie showed a lot of beautiful craftmanship which some people have never seen.It also had a heart and a touching story line...you won't be sorry you watched it.
