Fold-out of Captain Francis Neville's map of Londonderry as it was desieged in 1689. Republished by S.R. Publishers Ltd., 1971, from the 1893 edition that was first published in 1689. From paste-down on front endpaper: "The seige of Londonderry was a major international event in the great European struggle with the France of Louis XIV and this was clearly realized at the time." An inscription to the previous owner on the first blank endpaper is the only mark in the book. Probably never read. Spine slightly faded and minor wear to corners and spine ends. Very nice copy. Scarce. Size: 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall.
