Vol. 3 in BIS' collection of the complete works of Sibelius isn't for everybody. Indeed, considering it contains the Finnish composer's nearly unknown works for voice and orchestra, it probably isn't for anybody except his deepest and most dedicated fan. The biggest work here -- the five-movement, 80-minute-long Kullervo Symphony -- was banned from performance during the composer's lifetime by the composer himself, and the vast majority of the rest of the music here is even more obscure.
