I have been stimulated also by a sense of duty to society, to expose the monstrous deception which has so long imposed upon the world, and especially upon those whose truthfulness and purity would prevent a suspicion of duplicity in others. At least, I trust an investigation may be the result of these developments, which ought long since to have been made by a bolder and more skilful hand than my own.
