Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. Hardcover with dustjacket, first printing as indicated by the publisher's logo on the copyright page, book is in excellent condition, darkening to the cloth cover along the front gutter is the only remarkable flaw, the jacket has moderate edge-wear at the corners, spine-ends, and a small area at the bottom of the front panel, there is some tan spotting but please note that it is located on the reverse side of the jacket only, the jacket is clean and quite presentable, the original price (2.50) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included, a nicer copy than is usually found, this volume in the "Rivers of America" series features an illustrated title page, a double-page end-paper map, and additional illustrations by John O'Hara Cosgrave II.
