An interesting look at the Roman fort found in Templeborough in Rotherham, Yorkshire. The site of the fort was bought by Steel, Peech, and Tozer's steelworks in 1916. Before their work was constructed, the author was brought in to re-excavate the fort. Illustrated with a folding plate, and fifty-five plates. Thomas May was an archaeologist who specialised in Roman remains. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. A little fading to the spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A couple of light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed.
