I ordered a book very well-known in the history of World War II by William Shirer. I received some kind of history of the third Reich in an illustrated childrenÃ?Æ'Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¾Ã?¢s book. These people either canÃ?Æ'Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¾Ã?¢t read or donÃ?Æ'Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¾Ã?¢t know their history.

Shirer's Rise and Fall of the 3rd Reich
I was very pleased to receive the hardback copy of this book. It is hard to believe that it was published 52 years ago since it looks as if it brand new. Many thanks again for your excellent service.

The Rise And Fall of the Third Reich
An excellent, thorough history of perhaps the most evil regime in the history of the world. A little dry and drawn out at times but well researched by a author who experienced much of the activity at first hand.

The book to read about Nazi Germany
I have thought about reading this book for decades, but was afraid it might be hard to get through like so many nonfiction books. After my daughter assured me that it is very well-written, I decided to buy it as I knew I couldn't read it within the library's four-week check-out time. I'm so glad I did. It is one of the most interesting (maybe THE most interesting) book I've read. My husband probably got tired of my nightly report on some amazing (frequently disturbing) fact I'd read that day. I don't know that "enjoyed" is really the word for how I felt about the book, considering the content, but "enlightened" definitely is.
