I first met Nightfall in The Legend of Nightfall... He was a thing of mystery that mothers used to scare their children in to being good, like our boogey man. He was captured byy the King's agent and bound, by sorcery, to the younger prince, who was very naive and believed he could correct wrongs without repercussions. ie his country had no slaves thus he set the slave free of an ambassador from a slave holding country and could not understand why the ambassador became upset., This quest ended with the King, Crown Prince & the sorcerer being killed and the young Prince becoming King and Nightfall, by his true name, became his advisor. Nightfall was reluctant to preform some of his duties as advisor such as render justice in the kings court and longed for the freedom he once knew as Nightfall. He was soon to be given a quest that to complete he would have to face himself and use all his skills of camoflage, sleight of hand and skill with weapons. He would have to go against his vows not to use his criminal pastin the end he was forced to use his most terrible weapon....HIMSELF> This is a great read but do not start it unless you have the time toread it all because you will not want to put it down till it is finished
