Paramedic
The final book in the O'Malley series is about Stephen O'Malley, who is a paramedic. He is grieving at the loss of his sister, Jennifer, and he is angry at God.
He meets up with an old friend, Meghan; a nurse who is now blind, and living next door. As a nurse, I find it hard to believe that she is still working. A jewel thief, a tornado and a kidnapping bring them together, and Stephen learns to love, and to stop running from God.
Stephen learns that God doesn't want him to just be a servant, He wants to be his friend.
