The book by Lobenstein is part self-help and part practical advice and exercises to develop a healthy life when you are a Renaissance man or woman. It spends an entire chapter on recent college graduates helping them find a place in the world. I found particularly helpful the focus points. The process of selecting the four main areas that you want to focus on in you life. It is interesting that these may be work-related or not. Lobenstine takes a wholistic approach. To a person with many passions this book is a lifesaver. She is adamant and I can attest to this that the key is not to try and fit into the current model of switching careers or doing one for life, but finding something that works for you. Refreshing in a world that seems to want you to conform!
