Excerpt from The Remains of the Rev. James Marsh, D. D. Late President, and Professor of Moral and Intellectual Philosophy, in the University of Vermont: With a Memoir of His Life As to my own share in the work here presented to the public, I should be disposed to say nothing, were it not proper for me to give some account of the manner in which I have endeavored to dis charge a delicate office of friendship.
