This book is a riveting account of a young man's release from the bondage of drug abuse after years of diving deeper and deeper into a pit of self destruction. In novel form, it describes the spiritual warfare involved in claiming a soul for hell on earth and for eternity. Despite growing up in a Christian home the noose of addiction tightened around Carl Miller's neck each year of his life. Feelings of inadequacy and a desire to fit in with the popular kids kept him chasing daily after his next high. In eighth grade Carl discovered the sensation he got from a few beers gave him a confidence he'd never had. The next year he added marijuana to the mix and by tenth grade he had gotten a ticket for driving while intoxicated and six months of juvenile probation. Valium, Meth amphetamines, and cocaine were also part of Carl's twenty-six-year downward spiral. But in 2009 as a weary 40-year-old man he fell to his knees on the concrete floor of a dark prison cell and pleaded with God to remove the curse of addiction. This act of submission brought about a transformation that no other treatment could. Today Carl lives with his wife and two children, works as an air conditioning contractor and also serves in men's ministry leadership counseling other addicts.
