This I may apply to the waters of the sanctuary and to the people, bad and barren, otherwise the place is very pleasant and fruitful. Comparing these two chapelries, so near together, I have thought of Amos iv. 7, I have caused it to rain upon one. City, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not, withered.'
