I read this book many years ago when I was around twenty-four yeas old. I am a seventy year old retired teacher-grandmother-mother and wife now and I final found this book once again. This story has stayed with me all these years. I even sent a copy of 'The Power of One' because he was a boxer in the navy.
This is a wonderful story about a young English boy whose nanny was a South-African. 'PK' had to be sent to a boarding school because his mother had a breakdown. The story of PK's life takes of - the people that help him and hurt him in his journey through life will stay with you and help you at times through your life too!
