Inscribed to famed Southwest poet/writer, Haniel Long, "The last copy, and I'm glad it goes to Haniel Long. With my warmest regards. Kenneth M. Chapman." Errata slip (with paper clip impression) states author's dissatisfaction regarding certain color plates. Apparently the first three printings were not distributed due to the problem, but this printing was finally released. Memoirs of the Laboratory of Anthropology Volume I. Top of the last four leaves have a paper clip impression; just a bit of rust from same on a couple of pages & barely on inside of back cover. Bottom of dj has 1 1/2" split now closed. Couple of nicks at top of dj & another short tear at top of backstrip of dj. Top of front hinge starting after 1st leaf. Still, a nearly very good copy, & a special one with this presentation.
