Seller's Description:
Good in Good dust jacket. Complete two volume set. A later impression of the first (1915) edition. Clean pages except for a prior owner's name penned at the front free endpaper of each volume, a few scattered pencil marks (primarily in the indices), and a few spot of foxing around page block edges; the full red cloth covers show some softening at spine ends, and there is a white adhesion at the spine head of Volume Two, otherwise sound. The dust jackets are quite worn, with shallow but open edge tears and creases, surface scuffs and abrasions at all panels, some toning, foxing, and smudging; but both are essentially intact and now protected in clear sleeves. [xiii], 388 + 381pp.
