Physics was unavailable to me in high school and not required during my college days. It is an interesting, but (by me) poorly understood science. Ms. Ouellette presents her subject using TV's Angel/Buffy episodes or characters as examples to explain black holes, parallel universes, string theory and a host of other fascinating concepts. Real physics is, apparently, a subject that I can grasp.
I have never seen a Buffy episode, but have watched Angel in it's entirety. This probably made reading this book more fun (i.e. I know that character!) but this was entirely arbitrary for reading enjoyment.
All of her other books are excellent ,also, for those of us who prefer nonfiction.

I bought this book for my future son-in-law, who's a big Buffy fan. Both he and my daughter read it while they were waiting for Harry Potter VII to come out, and LOVED it.
