The family, Tom, his momma Sally, and his sister, Ellen, all struggle to make the small shop thrive, but Tom is also saddled with a small son, Tobias, whose mother is serving time in prison for drug dealing. Nonetheless, in a growing sense of life's purpose, and dreams for happiness and success through the family business, Tom is sent to the bank to get change for the store.
