Great seventies thriller. Movie pared back to the essentials, with two very underrated actors, Robert Duvall and Joe Don Baker in the leads and a great cameo from Robert Ryan.It is full of charactor actors before you had to cast the next big actor to come along like Tim Carey who would probably not be able to act today in movies because he would not fit a profile. Some movies are now going back to that feel and look of these movies like the recent Drive.
I like the idea of less is more.
