Before Sheldon wrote novels, he was a playwrite and wrote many scripts for movies and television, and his knowledge of the theater shows up in this book. This book has more sex in it than some of his other books, so if you like to read about sex, you will enjoy this story. The main character is a beautiful but embittered young actress, by the name of Noelle Page, who wants to kill her ex-lover, Larry Douglas, as she killed his unborn baby for dumping her. She uses people to get what she wants, and they all love her still. Constantin Demiris, a billionaire, is who she finally winds up with, as his mistress, and with his power and money Noelle now plans Larry's murder. We know she is sucessful, because the book starts out with the beginning of her trail for murder. But guess what, she isn't on trial for murdering Larry. It is a great story placed in both Europe and the USA during WWll, and there is also sabotage, the gestapo, and the French resistance. The book has everything you need to keep your interest. Enjoy

The Other Side Of MIdnight
This story is riveting, and suspenseful...the story begins with the innocent Noelle growing up in the streets of marsielle, and ends up tragically, and unpredictable for Noelle...the story of Larry and how he betrayed women, not only Noelle, but also the innocent and sweet american, Cathy...this book literally had me on the edge of my seat, and could not put it down.. Sidney.Sheldon outdid himself on this one,,,a true masterpiece in the truest sense... a drama which, in my opinion has been unprecidented since its writing...a fabulous book, full of drama, intrigue and nail biting suspense,,,till the very last page!!!!
