I have read 10 of the 17 Trail Drive Series books by Ralph Compton. Everyone of the books is fantastic. If you love cowboy and Indian history of the old west, especially the 1800's you will absolutely love these books. Do not read one unless you have all 17 as you will not be able to put them down. I read a book in 2-4 days, depending on what I have going. Great reading!!!!!!
