Acceptable. Acceptable condition. (Christianity, Bible, New Testament) A readable, intact copy that may have noticeable tears and wear to the spine. All pages of text are present, but they may include extensive notes and highlighting or be heavily stained. Includes reading copy only books.
I have been familiar with this translation of the Bible for many years, and was glad to find a copy for myself. Reading familiar text in more modern language gives it new meaning, even more valuable meaning.

How Do You Review the Bible?
I have had, for many years, the separate translations of the New Testament by J.B. Phillips and always found his translations to be quite readable and more readily understandlable. I want to have the whole New Testament in one volumn which is why I sought out a copy of his New Testabment in Modern English. I recommend it to those who like to refer to various translations when studying the Bible.
