RETURN ON INVESTMENT: 8.5 of 10; The review title says it all. If I was a young lad again and had not seen too many movies with mysteriously magical girls in them, I'd be all gaga over this one. As it is, I was happy to learn the story the non-American world has been familiar with for decades. We had our Spanky and gang, Tom Sawyer, Dead End Kids while Pippi grew in fame the rest of the world over.

ADDED NOTES Tami erin used her popularity from this film well and became a UN spokesperson and is still working at it. I wonder if she can still walk up walls?
