2 volumes. 59 (of 60) full page colored steel engravings, wood engravings, 9.25 x 5.75, half brown leather, marbled boards, 720 pp with index, covers a bit worn, some leather scuffing (esp on lower spine of volume 1), extremities bumped and fraying, hinges loose, contents a little toned, missing plate #12, with plate #11 moved to frontis, a few plates remounted on stiff paper and inserted at correct spots, a decent, usable set with spectacular anthropological color plates.
