Its roots, however, began as far back as the 1860s with materials Ellen White wrote for publications such as Health Reformer, Good Health, Appeal to Mothers, How to Live, and Christian Temperance and Bible Hygiene. This version is a full original text rendition. Over 200 hand drawn illustrations from that era have been restored and add much to its attractiveness and study value.Christ spent more time healing and ministering to the physical needs of suffering humanity than he did to preaching.
