That book is excellent for a good understanding of the Postmil theological viewpoint. It's very well written. While the present reviewer rejects this position, being Premil, pretrib dispensationalist, he recognizes an excellent work here.

HELPFUL COMPARISON OF ESCHATOLOGICAL VIEWS
"Millennium" is an excellent book for comparing and contrasting the four predominant views of eschatology. The author's intention is to win the reader over to embrace postmillennialism, but I doubt many amill or premill folk will be convinced by this particular book. However, the true value of this book is in its stunning critique of the huge logical, theological, exegetical, and hermeneutical holes inherent to dispensationalism. Dispensationalism, which is so popular in American evangelicalism of our day, is just plain BAD theology. The author makes that abundantly clear.
