Black covers with blindstamped designs on front and back, and gilt lettering and designs on spine. Spine is missing strips at each end and has tears and scrapes along edges. Corners of covers are bumped, worn and rounded, with the cloth frayed and missing along edges. Covers have edge wear. Second pages has a name and date of 1850 written on it.
