In line with this objective, we have taken the initiative to select a collection of hadiths from His Eminence, the Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mo ammed Taqi al-Modarresi, may he live long, on doctrinal issues. We have added a chapter from his "Al-Waj z f al-fiqh al-Isl m - U l al- aq id wa a k m al-taql d wa al-bul gh" under the title "The Principles of Belief in the Quran and Sunna." The purpose is to acquaint the noble reader with what is mentioned therein, as it may not be possible for him to read what is mentioned within the framework of jurisprudential research. Because of its close connection with the subject of this book, we brought it up again, hoping its benefits will become widespread. We have compiled all of this in a book entitled "The Message of Islam: Discourses on Belief" hoping that it will accrue benefit to our honorable readers in this world and the Hereafter, and may Allah accept it all from us.
