A pictorial fest of Maltese ancient art
Michael Ridley has captured the ancient megalithic art beautifully in his photographs and drawings.
This book is a must for anyone working with earth energies, standing stones, stone circles etc. It gives an insight into some of the oldest free standing buildings in the world and also shows, perhaps, where much of the rock art and building ideas came from in the UK.
Look at the spirals drawn at Newgrange in Ireland then compare them to what was happening in these mystic islands.
The burial chambers found here are resemble our own long barrows i.e. West Kennet Nr Avebury with the layout of the horsehoe shaped chambers almost identical. Perhaps built that way to encourage spirals to form generating healing energies during the winter solstice period.
A wonderful informative book.
