Throughout history, masonry, despite the various names it has assumed, has been a beacon in the darkness. In the future it will continue as it has in the past. Civilizations come and go, culture changes with the wind, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Mankind has taken a five thousand year journey to achieve the level of freedom and liberty we have today. Many of the advances have been due to the efforts of the "Keepers of the Light", "Star People", Knights Templars, Masons, etc. who safe guarded the secrets of universal truths even in the world's darkest hours. No one knows what actually happened three or four thousands of years ago. Much of history wasn't written down, much that was has been changed by social warriors with their own opinion of what actually occurred, or to further their own agenda. Did Jesus really die on the cross, were there two Jesus's? Did Jesus live and travel to France and live out his life with Mary and a daughter? Did Sarah have descendants who helped in the founding of America? In the general scheme of things, does it really matter? It's time we start thinging about the message, and not being concerned so much about the messenger. All religions and cultures have basically the same legends, and a spiritual messenger, Jesus, Buddha, Confuscus, shamans, medicine men, etc, and they all convey the same message. So what if the story isn't one hundred percent accurate or true, it's the message that is conveyed that is important. We all still believe in Santa Claus.
