A most enjoyable collection of short stories from the Master. In this book, Wodehouse chooses a road less travelled than his typical wry and gentle humor. These stories are vignettes of personal relationships, dealing with their highs and lows, with the protaganists never getting maudlin or losing their dignity. In my opinion, "In Alcala" by itself is the best of a great set of narratives - very moving love tale.
