I THOUGHT I ORDERED THE AMERICAN STANDARD, BUT INSTEAD I ACCIDENTIALLY ORDERED THE ENGLISH STANDARD. I FOUND THAT I ENJOY THIS STANDARD AS WELL IF NOT BETTER THAN THE AMERICAN STANARD. MACARTHER'S FOOT NOTES IN EACH CHAPTER ARE IN MY OPINION AN IMPROVEMENT OVER MANY OTHERS I HAVE READ. THE BIBLE IS EXTREMEMLY EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND. IF YOU STRUGGLE SOME TIME WITH TRYING TO INTERPRET THE SCRIPTURE YOU WILL FIND THIS BIBLE IS A GREAT HELP. I NOW CANNOT RECOMMEND ANY OTHER BIBLE.
