Although a novel, this book highlights actual events in the development of the U.S. Constitution. The reactions of the "founding fathers" as they considered issues to be addressed by the newly emerging nation is interestingly presented in a way that leads the reader to recognize that these young men were quite human. After all they were indeed young men involved in a bold revolution against the British and having the awesome responsivility to craft a new nation..

Fun to read.
Intriguing premise for a story. Insighful regarding past periods of time. This writer has some interesting ideas on which to base his fictional plots and somewhat historical characters other than those that are based on fact. The truly historical characters one can only trust are within their own personalities. This was the first of this writer's books that I read. I enjoyed it enough that i have since sought out, with the help of Alibris, his past publications to read. They only get better as he develops his genre.
