The 50-member band of the most select instrumentalists available, began in 1892 in Plainfield, New Jersey, touring practically every town and city in North America and many in Europe, South Africa, and Australia as well, and culminating in 1931 in Atlantic City, covering an amazing 1.3 million miles only by railroad, bringing music to the masses who wanted to be entertained, in over 15 thousand concerts. This book tells the story of this legendary group which leaves us with a very important legacy that should be of great interest to readers.
