Did not realize this is a foreign language film. If you like to read your movies, that may not bother you. You end up with scant appreciation of the storyline relying on the subtitles only. Plenty of subtitling of what Critter-Year events happened in - year of the horse, etc. is faithfully subtitlted. By reading the movie before subtitles are wisked away, you miss character recognition, even, for future events. You get to see lots of beheadngs.
