I really enjoyed this book. It jumps straight into the storyline with the first chapter, which, although not giving us much time to get to know the characters very well, makes for a more exciting read. The writing style I think could be better but the story itself is fast-paced and imaginative. I was undecided as to put 3 stars or 4 but decided on the 4 for the likeable characters and the obvious research that has been put into this book to make it appropriate to the time-period that it takes place in. Overall, an enjoyable read.
