Have you caught yourself contemplating the events that have unfolded over the last few decades and thought what in the world is happening? Are you confused by what these self-proclaimed false prophets are "declaring what the Lord told them?" Does it seem like the world is falling apart? If I were not a Christian, I would be wondering the exact same thing. But as a Christian I think the opposite is happening. I believe things are falling into place! God is sovereign and He is orchestrating the last days developments at an ever-increasing speed! In the next few chapters I want to use current events to explain why Bible prophecy is relevant and how it relates to you and me today. The true prophets of the Old Testament were inspired by the Holy Spirit of God and foretold of these events thousands of years ago. Jesus, Himself told us what these days would be like and what the signs of His second coming would be. Many of Jesus' disciples and many Old Testament Prophets gave us detailed prophecies of what these days we are living in would be like and what we as the remnant Church should be doing.
