Inscribed By Author This biographical sketch of "The Great Liberator" Daniel O'Connell (1775-1847) was written by the widow of his son Morgan, and contains some very interesting ASSOCIATIONS. This is Volume One only of two; a Very Good copy. Green cloth binding, ruled, with gilt lettering on the spine and front cover. It shows some wear at the edges and has a cracked front gutter that is holding. Clean text; 335 pages, with an astounding 64 pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. This copy has been INSCRIBED by the Author to "Sergeant M. O'Connor" dated in Cork, Ireland, in 1892. There is also a bookplate on the front paste-down from "Daniel T. O'Connell" and an inked signature/note that it was a gift in 1923. Daniel T. has also signed the Title Page. Size: 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall.
