That one can make a very good living from anywhere in the world with an internet connection is pretty much indisputable. But it's hard to take seriously an author who claims the cost of internet service is $20 a month. I don't know what world Mark Anastasi lives in, but in my world, internet service is $76.99 for what was three months ago $74.99.
This is not to say that I will abandon my dream of developing passive income streams via the internet. It just means that I feel I can't trust what this author says, and that's unfortunate because, how will I know what's true and what isn't?
Mr. Anastasi makes this claim no doubt to bolster reader enthusiasm for his story. It's what one might call a "Wow! Gee!" statement. The problem with such a statement is that it calls into question all other statements the person makes. If he under-exaggerates this claim by 400%, then does he over-exaggerate other claims by 400% as well? No one knows. The only thing for certain is that his intention is to exaggerate the value of his book in the mind of the reader. Oops!

p.s. The three star rating indicated reflects how I feel about the book so far. I didn't want to indicate yet whether I would recommend it to a friend, but Alibris gives me no choice. I guess, at this point (I do plan to add to this review as I read through the book), I could recommend borrowing it from the library, but I wouldn't recommend spending money on it.
