Being raised by alcoholic parents I grew up to exhibit the worst case of codependency. My Neice was visiting and I begged her to leave it with me. She did. I followed thru and read the book everyday! This book is kinda geared for recovering alcoholics. Although I am not an alcoholic, I grew up with my parents severe alcoholism and all that entails. The book has been thrown across my room many times. The truth hurts but it�s so good to know what was wrong with me, and why I was feeling the way I did! I learned to accept who I am! And, I learned to love myself and no longer worry about pleasing everybody! I highly recommend this book. If you sincerely commit to making a habit of reading it daily, it will make you realize just how much of life you have been missing. Great Help
This book is applicable to everyone. It has practical words of wisdom that we can all relate to. The daily readings are short and concise and really hit the nail on the head. We can all use some brain WASHING. . . clearing out the trash. This is the book to gently lead us.
