This is a beautiful film about love and loyalty in all of its manifestations. This a story that confronts all that was to be critiqued in Fire (another good film, but several queer critiques can be made, as does the director in the bonus footage), and tells an honest story in subtle strokes of genious and an artistic palate of colors, sounds,... and emotions. The Journey is one of my favorite films of all time.
