How did I get from the streets of Baltimore (Sandtown) where bars, bullets and women were my daily doses of happiness to standing in the pulpit preaching the goodness of GOD? I never believed that Sister Kelly was really a prophet and knew what she was talking about when she spoke into my life while I was still a young child. I had so many other ideas and plans and as I became older, I put them into action. From growing up and "running" the streets in Sandtown (Baltimore), to the United States Marine Corps, and even after serving my country, I was determined to live my life my way! What did I know? What else did I need to do? I prayed to GOD whenever something was not going well with me...what else did I need to do? I was doing what seemed right and what gave me satisfaction. Somewhere between being a little boy trying to get away from that old lady named Sister Kelly and becoming a man, I found out that Sister Kelly really heard from GOD and that HE was going to have the last say in my life and destiny.
