None. Good Only. The second edition of this treasure trove of Italian literature for the English-reading public. Complete in Four Volumes. Selected from the most approved authors in that language; from the earliest period down to the close of the eighteenth century: arranged in an historical and chronological series. Translated from the original Italian, accompanied with notes, critical and biographical. Thomas Roscoe, 1791-1871, was an English writer and translator. In a quarter calf bindings with marbled paper. Externally, rubbed, with Torquay Reading Society labels to the front board and spine. Library labels to the front pastedown of each volume. The hinges are strained. Internally, generally firmly bound, with scattered foxing and occasional marks. Torquay Natural History Society and Torquay Book Society ink stamps to the title pages. Pages 113-128 of volume one are partially attached. Good Only.
