This is a wonderful book. I knew nothing about this kind of color blindness and found all of it fascinating. I especially like the way Sachs fills in the story with local characters and lore. It is always a delight when someone with a passion explains it to the rest of us. The first part of the book is about the color blindness and the second about his love of cycads, another subject I was ignorant about. Highly recommended for the curious.
