Once again we see dear Alan stumbly into blind luck. The story is a pretty avarage tale without too much excitement and appears to be just a place keeper and setup story for some future excitement. He manages to win friends and create emenies with his usual flair and we are left wondering what his future holds. Fans of the series will want to read this one, but it is not the swashbuckling adventure one might expect from past exploits. Could be he is getting old........ I really enjoyed the story and as always it left me eager for the next .
