As an inspired authority, and for the purpose of consulta tion and study, the common arrangement is no doubt far better than any other. But a mode of presentation which employs only the familiar Gospel words, which can be read in a few hours as a continuous narrative, and yet gives the whole story in a single impres sion, may be very useful.
