Not For the Faint of Heart !
This is the either the best written bit of pulp pornography ever sold. Or the weirdest piece of Sam Sam Spade type mystery to ever hit a book rack. Or Science fiction that would make Freud drop his cigar.
Farmer is truly one of the great Sci Fi writers of the golden age. But here he boldly goes where Asimov has never gone before. I first read this book in 1978. Scenes have remained in my mind since then. This is one of Farmers lesser known works. If you're a fan it's a must read. If your not , after you read this you will either be scouring Alibris for every word Farmer ever wrote, or you'll be joining a book burning society just for him. Great characters..... vivid imagery ..... Much much sex and violence ...... a quick and compelling read **********
